Core Equity

The Core Equity and Core Dividend investment strategies form the base of the equity allocation in many portfolios and are focused on owning good companies at good prices.   Both strategies use a bottom up quantitative process to evaluate thousands of stocks to identify the companies we want to own and the prices we feel offer appropriate compensation for the growth and risk outlook.

Core Equity places an emphasis on high quality companies with growing earnings trading at reasonable valuations, while Core Dividend places greater emphasis on above average companies with sustainable dividend yields with room to increase.  By constructing an overall portfolio that has superior fundamental and valuation metrics to the S&P 500, the strategies are designed with the goal of offering superior risk adjusted returns through a full market cycle.
